EvenFlow Layouts¶

EvenFlow uses three layouts built from the same interface capabilities and the same stored Idea Cards. A layout changes visibility, not truth: hiding an identifier, Project, Snapshot, Result, or Card list never deletes or changes it.

Lean¶

Lean minimizes supporting elements while a thought is moving quickly. It keeps the source field, capture action, and a compact layout selector available. Supporting capture fields and the Card list are hidden by default, but remain available through Display or another layout.

Regular¶

Regular is the balanced default. It shows supporting capture fields, the Card list, Projects, statuses, kinds, Snapshots, and Results. Card IDs and timestamps remain hidden unless the person enables them.

Review¶

Review exposes provenance and development context, including Card IDs and timestamps. It is intended for inspection, reconciliation, and deliberate development rather than rapid capture.

Personal visibility controls¶

The Display control can override any layout's individual choices. Those preferences remain only in that browser on that device. They do not alter the Ledger, create separate records, or affect another device.

Draft preservation¶

Unfinished source text, Project text, source link, and optional Snapshot are retained in that browser on that device. Changing layouts or refreshing the page does not clear the draft. A confirmed capture clears it. This is short-term protection against interruption, not a synchronized backup.
